After breakfast, you'll drive past the National Museum (2,487 meters) and travel through apple orchards and smallholdings until you arrive at Damchena village. From there, we'll begin a trek towards Jele Dzong, situated at 3,490 meters on a whaleback ridge. Although Jele Dzong is largely in ruins, it features a Lhakhang with a statue of Buddha Sakyamuni. On clear days, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Paro town, its fertile valley, and Mount Jumolhari (7,325 meters).
We will then embark on a gradual ascent before descending below the ridgeline, following trails through dense alpine forests and rhododendrons. You may encounter yak herders along the way. Our trek continues uphill to a yak herders’ pasture at Jangchulakha (3,780 meters), where we'll set up camp for the night. Overnight camp
